Neural Networks

Programming fuzzy logic not complicated and is very approachable for someone that can program in C/C++. The basic idea is, much world knowledge is not strict true/false but often somewhere in between.

Neural networks are a different approach to computer architecture. Instead of one or two highly powerful, complicated CPU's (like Pentiums) neural networks involves hundreds or thousands of simple processors connected in a simple network (grid). Fortunately, neural networks can also be implemented in software on conventional computers.

Think of Neural Networks as a research area in artificial intelligence, which has had some successes in areas like pattern recognition.

You will need to learn several concepts (back probagation, training sets, etc.) to write a neural network program.

If you really want to learn neural networks, google "Neural Network Tutorial", read four or five sites, then go to a large bookstore and scan through their books on Neural Networks. Buy the one that seems the most understandable / useful for what you want to do.
